Normanton Church at Sunset

I can’t quite believe it has been almost 5 months since the wedding of Taryn & Joel at Normanton Church right here in the beautiful county of Rutland. Normanton Church has to be one of my all-time favourite wedding ceremony locations so I was over the moon when I received a call from Taryn asking if I would be available to photograph their wedding.

With a ceremony time of 14:00 that meant that we had plenty of time to capture the morning preparations which were so incredibly relaxed, if I wasn’t there to photograph it I would have forgotten everyone was getting ready for a wedding. It was just so perfect, the children were on their best behaviour and the beautiful little J even had her makeup done by Niki McEwan, Taryn’s fabulous makeup artist.

Taryn arrived in style in a fantastic campervan with her bridesmaids and the ceremony was soon underway. Little ‘B’ had the honour of presenting the rings and did such a stellar job! After the ceremony, they walked through an arch of bubbles before heading over to the Normanton Park Hotel for their wedding reception celebrations. If you have never seen a 6ft + man try and slide down a swirly slide before then you need to scroll down to see the evidence.

Because Taryn and Joel had their wedding reception at the Normanton Park Hotel it meant that we got to head back out to Normanton Church for the most incredible sunset photos. Normanton Church at sunset is truly something to behold, and add a newly married couple into the mix and you have the perfect recipe for a wall-worthy photo. After this, it was time to head back inside, just in time to throw some shapes on the dancefloor.
