The weather was set to be truly British in style for the wedding of Kate and Lenny on the 25th June this year at Minstrel Court. The morning of the wedding Lenny headed over to the Hermatige Road for brunch, he was the picture of calm, surrounded by his friends joking and laughing the morning away before the days wedding preparations began. Kate was at her mums house along with her sister, I could see the excitement on her face the instant I walked through the door, the day she had been waiting for had finally come she was about to marry her best friend and even better, their beautiful little daughter Emily would be joining the celebrations as their flower girl.

The weather held out for us and Kate was able to walk the long pathway down to the beautiful outside ceremony location. Her brother took her hand to walk her down the aisle, a proud moment it was beautiful to see the closeness between them.

Kate and Lenny put so much effort in to their wedding day. The marquee looked beautiful each table decorated with beautiful flowers by Claire Ellis and they smelt divine too.

If there is one thing Minstrel Court knows it is how to throw a great party. Their resident DJ Bob Burling had all the guests on their feet until the small hours.

Kate and Lenny thank you for giving me the honor of capturing your special day, may you share many many happy years together.

How to prepare for your pre wedding shoot

Deciding what to wear and how to prepare for your pre wedding shoot can often be more stressful than the shoot itself.

Unless of course you have a cheeky little prep post like this one to help you along that is.

Your session will either take place at sunrise or sunset (preferably) so we can get some of that gorgeous golden light. It will last for up to 90 minutes which should give us time for at least two outfit changes.
