Let them be kids – Family Photos in the Rutland Bluebells
It was such a pleasure to be back with Rebecca and Nick’s lovely family for their latest family photoshoot in the beautiful bluebell woods in Rutland. I have worked with this family many times before and it’s always such a joy to see how the children have grown and changed since our last session.
One of the things I really appreciated about this family is that they truly understand the importance of letting children be children. During our time together, we didn’t just take posed pictures with everyone smiling at the camera – we actually had some real fun together! We splashed in puddles, climbed trees (carefully, of course!), and ran around like crazy people. I was so impressed with how the kids just let loose and had a blast, and it really shows in the final photos.Â
 Of course, we also took some more traditional posed shots, but even those had a relaxed, natural feel to them. It’s always great when clients are willing to trust me and just let things unfold in a natural, organic way.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with how the session turned out. I know this family will cherish these images for years to come, and I can’t wait to work with them again in the future. For now, I hope you enjoy these previews of our time together in the bluebell woods!
